I am Sakurazaka46’s Masumoto Kira.

 

On 8/19 & 8/20 the rescheduled 「W-Keyaki Fes 2022」 was held
Thank you so much to everyone who came to the venue in person as well as those of you who watched the live broadcast.

This event, which initially had to be suspended,
was able to be held thanks to the cooperation of many people. I think it’s nothing short of a miracle.
Thank you truly, so very much.

 

The moment I saw everyone who came to the event, having to change their schedules, arrange lodging and transportation, and make all kinds of other adjustments, something welled up inside of me like never before.
It’s the moment I realized just how much I really wanted to see you all.

 

The gratitude I feel for this occasion, which cannot be taken for granted, is something I will keep in my heart.
I enjoyed it to the fullest!!

 

 

And so
Ozeki Rika-san and Harada Aoi-san’s graduation ceremony was held💐

 

Ozeki-san

I believe that
even if we can see a person’s invisible wounds and understand that they are hurting,to really empathize with that pain is not something that comes easy

Even so, when we’re able to empathize with their pain through our own experiences and our ambition to keep our hearts close together, it helps people who are hurting so very much.

This is something I learned from Ozeki-san putting it into practice.

I’m sure there isn’t a single member that doesn’t have a memory of Ozeki-san helping them out.
She possesses a warmth so powerful it reaches everybody.

From now on, I want you to be the one being wrapped up in that warmth.

Harada-san

She later laughed and told me
that it was tough for her whenever we were putting on concerts.
I think it would have taken more than just an ordinary effort to study so hard for your future on top of working as hard as you could on even the bare minimum of everything you must have had to do, all while having no time.

 

When I don’t have enough time, it’s harder for me to smile than usual.
I thought that must be the same for everybody, but it’s something I never noticed to be the case with Harada-san, who always smiled through and through regardless of the circumstances.

 

Even if Harada-san will forever be everybody’s cute little sister character, I think with how her smile never disappeared no matter what the circumstances were, she was a mature woman who’s stronger than any of us.
