Sakurazaka46: Showcase on July 15th

  1. Sakurazaka46 will be performing at Ichigo Stage concert hall from 16:30-17:00 (local time).
  2. Visitors will be granted entry to the Ichigo Stage concert hall 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance. Entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
  3. The event following Sakurazaka46’s performance, “ECG Season 11: The Finals,” is the second most highly anticipated event at Japan Expo Paris this year. In previous years, people have queued very early for this event.
We recommend that fans consider queuing early to secure a better view of the stage.
  4. Depending on the queue length on the day, arriving approximately 2 hours in advance may be advisable.

Note:
To locate the Ichigo Stage concert hall, please refer to the Japan Expo Paris floor map here.

Access

Japan Expo is 30 minutes away from Paris center by public transportation. Both the airport and Parc des Expositions are outside Paris.

From the Paris area, buses can bring you to Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center:

  1. Line 350 (RATP) from Gare de l’Est in Paris or from Charle de Gaulle airport, get off at Parc des Expositions RER. https://www.ratp.fr/en/plans-lignes/busratp/350
  2. Line 349 (RATP) from Charle de Gaulle airport to Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, get off at Parc des Expositions RER (end of the line).

  3. Lines 607, 619, 640, 641, and 642.

  4. You can find more information on https://www.ratp.fr/en/

Note:
You can buy bus tickets with cash on any bus (speak to the driver), or from ticket machines in the subway.

There’s only 1 train line that goes to the venue.

  1. Japan Expo Paris is located at station “Parc des Expositions” on the line RER B (blue line).
  2. It’s important to note that Paris has two types of rail systems: the “Metro” (numbered lines) and the “RER” (lettered lines). The Metro is primarily used for travel within Paris, while the RER extends outside the city.
  3. Regular metro tickets are NOT valid for traveling to “Parc des Expositions” station.

Buying Tickets

  1. Tickets can be purchased at any station using automatic machines or at information desks. These options are available when you enter the station or just before the ticket gates. Look for machines labeled “Tickets” above them.

  2. 1 ticket is valid for a single trip, including train changes, within a 2-hour period. Your trip is considered complete once you exit a station, so for a round trip, you will need to purchase 2 tickets.
  3. When purchasing your ticket, ensure that you select the correct type. DO NOT buy Paris Metro T+ tickets for travel to Parc des Expositions, as they are only valid for trips within Paris on the Metro. These tickets cost approximately 2.1€.
  4. To travel to Japan Expo Paris (Parc des Expositions), you must have a valid RER ticket. RER train inspectors are present at the Parc des Exposition station to check tickets, and fines may be issued for using the wrong ticket.
  5. If you are traveling from Paris, you should purchase Ile-De-France IDF tickets/ point-to-point tickets. 1 trip ticket to Parc des Expositions costs 5€.
  6. Ride the train on the RER B platforms in the direction of “Aeroport Charles de Gaulle.”

  7. If you are traveling to or from Roissy Charles De Gaulle (CDG) airport, you can purchase an “Airport ticket” for both directions. The cost for 1 trip is approximately 12€.
  8. Find your metro or RER itinerary on www.ratp.fr
  9. You’ll find the train schedule on www.sncf.com

Note:

  • Not all trains stop at Parc des Expositions.
  • To check if the next train is stopping at Parc des Expositions, check the panels with light indicators on the platforms. These indicators show which stations where the upcoming train will make a stop.
  • If the indicator for Parc des Expositions is not lit up, please wait for the next train. In the example provided below, the train does not include Parc des Expositions in its route.
  • If you do not see “Parc des Expositions” displayed on the panel, it is likely that you are on the incorrect platform.
