I received the baton from Hii-chan, who is the best at doing makeup among the 4th generation members ☁️



I’m Yamakawa Ui from Miyagi, 20 years old 🌸

20 years old, you say…!! What should I doー!

So my teenage years have ended,,, it feels so weird




I was born on the morning of the 19th
And it seems like the moon at the night of the 18th was a beautiful full moon 🌕


The full moon around this time of the year is called the “Corn Moon” in the American agricultural calendar 🌽

Perhaps that was how my love for corn came to be…?





I thought that I’d naturally become a full-fledged adult when I turn 20,
But I’m actually still so childlike, even more than I expected 🍉


I don’t know when you start being called as an adult,
But while being grateful to the people around me and the environment I’m in, which make me feel like I don’t need to rush to become an adult,

I want this year to be a year in which I aim to become a person who’s a little more independent than I am now, and who has a strong sense of self so I won’t ever be shaken by the winds ✊🏻

A few days before my birthday,
I went to Koresawa-san’s concert, titled “Atashi wo Eranda Kimi to Iku Budokan”! ⊹ ࣪ ˖

I wore the concert T-shirt and also lined up for photos
My older sister who went with me took the pic~

I’ve always wanted to try doing this kind of thing 🥹 lol





Since coming across the album titled “Kimi no Band” when I was in elementary school
I’ve always really, really loved Koresawa-san


I would listen to Koresawa-san’s songs every day, and I would draw Koresawa-san’s character, “Reko-chan”, everywhere… lol

In middle school, I would go to the collab cafes and buy merch
And at that time my older sister would go along with me doing oshikatsu 💌

How nostalgic




A few years after I started doing oshikatsu casually, I attended a signing event for the first time in my life ✨

Coincidentally, the album with the signing event ticket bonus went on sale on the day of my birthday

It felt like fate, and that made me happy, and I also resolved to tell her just how I’ve always loved her
My heart was beating fast while waiting, wondering how many people are left before it was my turn


When my turn finally came, and Koresawa-san was there before me
I was truly so nervous that the words I thought up carefully couldn’t come out at all

But when I finally managed to convey my feelings,
She added a little crown drawing to the autograph when she heard that it was my birthday… 🥲


The fact that I was able to meet someone I love, express my feelings directly to her in my own words,
And the fact that she received those words and gave them back to me in a tangible way,

All of that made me super, super happy, and the time I spent at the signing event and the autograph I got there have become my treasures 🍀




Seven years have passed since that day,
And now I’m celebrating my 20th birthday after having joined Sakurazaka46

When I think that maybe I can be someone who can bring happiness just like that, even if in little amounts,

I feel truly blessed to have found such a wonderful profession 🥲



I’m still lacking, but I’m sure I’ll dedicate my entire life to make you all happy, with everything that I’ve got!

I’d be happy if you’d watch over me by my side🌸

And, and, the day of that concert on the 16th, it was also happened to be Chii-tan’s birthday!! 🍰

Chii, happy 18th birthday!!! ✨

I haven’t really come across people with birthdays close to mine, so it felt like fate and that made me happy~

I felt blessed to be able to celebrate it with Chii-tan, while reading everyone’s blogs 🌸



When I first talked to her on the final round of the audition, I remember thinking that she looked beautiful, pure, and just like an actress! 💭


Now, Chii-tan has truly become everyone’s little sister, and she always carries her favorite plushies with her

When she talks with Konomin, who also loves plushies, they would pretend to be the characters and I’d watch over them while thinking “How cute~ how peaceful~” 🫶🏻



But once she holds up a camera, her expression instantly becomes sharp and serious, and I really love that contrast

I also love how adorable she looks when she reverts back to her usual full-of-smiles self, with a look of satisfaction, after taking the photos! 🫶🏻



I’ll be looking forward to Chii-cameraman’s activities from now on as well 📷


The gentle vibe the 4th gens got going on is supported by the presence of the innocent, adorable, and hardworking Chii-tan 🌸

The time when we grew closer in age after celebrating Momo-chan’s 17th birthday went by in a flash 🥲

Those who watched her YouTube stream may have noticed, that even though Momo-chan looks cool, she’s surprisingly talkative

There are so many moments where I feel like she’s truly acting like her age, like a real high school student 💭

Whenever I talk to Momo-chan, I feel like I’m basking in her youth… 🫧 lol

Now that I can’t call myself a teenager anymore, I’m sure I’ll feel that even more

I’ll do my best to stay youthful so I won’t lose to Momo-chan, so continue to be friends, okay? 🥲🍑 lol




Also, I went out with Hiiro just the other day! ♡
