A year ago today, I was so incredibly nervous I couldn’t sleep. It was the day before Sakurazaka46’s 4th audition.
That bring back memories. I cried so much at the 4th audition lol

Summer really makes me want to go to a summer festival-!
I don’t have many memories of going to summer festivals when I was in Hiroshima, but I really love festivals-!
The other day, when I was walking with Rika, Nagi and Yuzu, we talked about wanting to go to a festivaland it made me want to go even more
I love food stalls! I was talking to Yuzu about wanting to eat hashimaki, and she said, “What’s that-?!”,
Apparently it’s a staple in the Kyushu and Chugoku regions~
t/n: Hashimaki is an okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake) that’s wrapped around a pair of chopsticks
I haven’t been able to go to a summer festival this year but I’m satisfied because I got to wear a yukata—- ^._.^

There were some flowers I couldn’t take a picture with, and there were some flowers that were meant for 2 of us, but I couldn’t take a picture of both of us together

Airi is the person I went home with every time during the training period!
We ate dinner together every night~ lol
On the way home the day I found out there would be a training camp and felt anxious,
We promised to eat gyutan (beef tongue) after the camp
I’m sorry we couldn’t make it happen.

With Airi, we’ve shared so many emotions,
Happiness, sadness, anxiety, joy, loneliness

Since we’ve talked so much like that ever since the training period, I was so incredibly happy that we passed the audition together.
I think it was during the preparation period for Omotenashikai. There was a time when Itoha felt very lonely,
And at that time, Airi hugged me-!!
From then on if anything happened, I would contact Airi! I really thought of her like a mom LOL

A. Itoha also loves the name Itoha-!!!
It’s a name my mom gave me, and I really love it
~ Origin ~
The kanji for ‘Ito’ (純) in Itoha means,
‘Pure’ or ‘Unadorned’, hoping I would be a pure and natural person.
The ‘Ha’ (葉) in Itoha is because the young leaves in May looked beautiful from the hospital room window where I was born

Lastly,
The other day, Habu-san’s graduation was announced.
In front of Habu-san, I act strong and can’t be honest and I still haven’t been able to convey how I feel in words, but honestly my heart aches so much and I feel so lonely that I don’t even know what to do with myself.
When I was in pain, lonely, struggling or sad,
Habu-san was always there for me. She treated me with so much kindness when I had just joined.
“How have you been lately?”
When she asked that, I couldn’t be honest and so I lied saying I was perfectly fine. I turned my face away so se wouldn’t see me holding back tears.
Then Habu-san gently hugged me.
I was so incredibly happy. I felt relieved like maybe I wasn’t alone.
Habu-san’s hugs are truly amazing!
My heart just warms up and I feel stronger somehow.
That’s why I’m thinking of a theory that Habu-san is emitting some kind of power. But it’s not a theory, is it?
She’s definitely emitting it. I love her.
The other day I got power from her before my performance. I was able to stand on stage fully charged!
(Honestly I wanted to stick even closer to her…)

She’s helped me countless times, supported me countless times, and made me laugh countless times,

As you all know, Habu-san is an incredibly kind person. She’s so kind that the word ‘kind’ alone isn’t enough to express it, so kind that describing her that way is a waste.
I’ve been relying on her kindness and taking advantage of it too much.
