I’m Yamakawa Ui from the 4th generation 🌸





Whenever I say that I prefer the summer heat to the winter cold
People tend to say that they prefer winter because you can just layer up for the cold

But Hii-chan is my rare and precious summer lover friend 🌻



She made choco bananas while talking on the YouTube stream masterfully

It felt like a festival, so fun~ 🎐




Summer is coming to an end soon, huh 🥲

It’s already September! The season for good food is coming~ 🍠

🍊 A word or phrase to describe the dome concerts?

I’ll start from the hot topic 🌸

When I got asked this during meet & greet, I answered “moving” at the spur of the moment

Because it made me think “So this is what it means to have your heart and emotions moved…!”


Another one that came to my mind was “A dream come true”

The moment I stood on the stage of my dreams while watching the seniors who I admire up close, it felt like my dreams had truly become reality 💭




When I casually looked into prophetic dreams, I found out that it happened because

“A phenomenon called ‘cognitive bias’ causes us to associate vague dream memories with the reality”

“The information processing in the brain, past memories, and environmental stimuli influence dreams, and when a similar event occurs in reality by chance, they are often interpreted as predictions of the future”

That’s what people say.


Seems like the important part is believing strongly that the dream you had will truly become reality




If dreams can become reality depending on our consciousness, then we can just delude ourselves!

But on the other hand, I feel like the words “delusion” “ambiguity” and “A similar event occurs in reality by chance”
Shouldn’t be associated with my memories of the dome concerts…




Since I passed the audition, until now, I’ve been feeling like I’m in a long, long dream

But when I saw the seniors’ performance,
I realized once again that I can’t stay in this dreamlike state forever



It’s going to be long, but please let me talk a bit more about the tour…! 🥲🥲



During this tour, especially the Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome performances

I think the performances brought to life the legacy and history that our seniors have built up over the years

When I found out that we’d be joining the tour, I felt a growing sense of anxiety about this precious opportunity,

Wondering if it was really appropriate for us, who had only just joined the group, to take part in such a performance.


However, seeing the performances of our seniors, who are constantly showing new expressions and constantly evolving to become even more passionate and captivating,

I was deeply inspired, realizing I had no choice but to desperately cling on as the concert accelerated. ⚡️


On the last show of the tour where we were performing as a part of the group for the first time, we were able to witness up close a moment that marked a new chapter in Sakurazaka46’s history

And we, the 4th generation members, were also able to participate in such a concert

We’d like to continue our activities while cherishing this moment, which felt like a dream, but also remember the reality of it!




“A dream come true” is such a good phrase, isn’t it?
I should’ve made it the title of my previous blog post 💭

🍉 Do you have a deeply memorable summer memory?

I wrote that my memory was eating lots of watermelons this summer

But I actually did suikawari recently!

I haven’t been able to do much summer-like stuff, but then my 3 years older big sister made this wonderful invitation… 🫶🏻


When was the last time I did it, I wonder… Maybe when I was in elementary school…?
The watermelon broke properly… I was so moved ✨



My beloved summer is coming to an end, but I managed to make some new summer memories just in time ☺︎



Did you think that my summer memories were only about watermelons…? 😑
Can’t be helped, since I love them so much 🍉







🍋 You wrote that Soutaisei Riron’s songs are your go-to for karaoke, but which songs specifically?

I usually just sing a bunch of their songs, but I always make sure to sing “Moonlight Ginga” and “(Koi wa) Hyakunen Sensou”!


The other day, I went to karaoke after a long time, and I really had fun singing “Kids No Return”!

It’s fun that the melody keeps changing~
I couldn’t quite hit the pitch in the middle part of the song though 🤫 lol
