I won’t feel sad that way, so I’m happy

Because they hoped I would be a kind person

What exactly is kindness?

I feel like I come across this question a lot in my life

Whether to say something, or ask nothing

Whether to lend a hand right away, or wait for them to come back up again

Since before, I often wondered “Was I kind to that person today?”

And, “Did that person also perceive that as “kindness”?”

There is no correct answer

Since we can’t look into others’ hearts, I think that it’s impossible to fully understand someone else’s feelings

Therefore, it’s also impossible for someone else to fully understand ourselves

But that’s not a bad thing, on the contrary,
We try to understand each other by the act of empathizing, even though we can’t see it and we don’t know the truth

That’s why, the correct answer to the meaning of kindness can’t ever be found

But, you see, whatever you do, if it stemmed from kindness,
I think the person would understand that you care about them
