Good evening
Thank you very much for opening my blog
I’m Yamada Momomi from Sakurazaka46’s 4th Generation
I received the baton from Ui-tanー🪽
It’s been 9 days, hasn’t it?
Since I have only one chance every nine days, there are a lot of things I want to write about, so are you ready, everyone?!
--------------------
Firstly, thank you very much for the online meet and greet to commemorate the release of “Make or Break” ☺︎
I was actually very nervous
Honestly, I was more nervous than I was during the First Showcase
“Would I be able to talk properly?” “Would it be a good memory for Buddies?” and other worries grew; I was restless the day before💧
But!
Talking with all the Buddies is really fun! I received a lot of power~
Around the start of it, I was probably very stiff and overly serious, so those who could see me like that might be lucky in a sense⭐︎
There were a few questions, so I’ll answer them!
Q. What should I call you?
A. In my previous blog, I said anything is fine, but I guess I like “Momo-chan”~
Q. Who nicknamed you Damomi?
A. Wakochi (Matsumoto Wako)!
Q. Are you on Team Kinoko no Yama or Team Takenoko no Sato?
A. Team Takenoko no Sato
(t/n: Two chocolate candies that are a point of high contention among Japanese natives; Kinoko no Yama are little mushroom shaped ones, Takenoko no Sato are little bamboo shoot shaped ones)
etc…
The next online meet and greet is on July 12th
I’ll practice answering questions so I can reply as fast as I can
I’m really looking forward to it.ー☺︎
(The clothes I’m wearing were from the fashion show Did you notice?)
--------------------
And, I’ll talk about my signature, which I announced in my previous blog!
Everyone, have you seen my signatureー?
There are 3 points to my signature
① The peach shape is because of Momomi (t/n: Momo = Peach)
② The M in Momo is in the shape of a cherry blossom petal
③ The number 46 is there
Is there someone who noticed all of them?!
Those who noticed ③ from the start are amazing✨
If you have the chance to see my signature again, please take a look while remembering these 3 points ☺︎
And I’ll also talk about my hobbies here, like I announced last time
My hobbies are watching movies ・watching dramas ・crocheting!
I like movies and watch them a lot, but I can’t go to the cinema because I don’t have the time or can’t wake up, and for other various reasons💧
However, I definitely go and watch the “Detective Conan” movie series every year! I went to see it this year
I’d been watching about 4 dramas every season. I still remember during the parent-and-child meeting with my homeroom teacher in my third year of junior high school, I was warned to reduce the number of dramas I watch to 3!!
My favorite drama so far is “UNNATURAL”
I’ve watched it 4 times
Does everyone know that I like crochetingーー?
During the summer of my freshman year of high school, I saw my grandmother crocheting and was suddenly reminded of the time she let me try it when I was a kindergartner, so I gave it a try again after a while
It was reeeally difficult, and I thought I would give up at first, but as I got better at it, I realized the charms of crocheting more and more, and I became completely absorbed in it
I actually haven’t been able to do much lately because of time…
I’m thinking of starting again soon🧶
--------------------
And the other day, I went to see the preliminaries of the Track and Field Inter-High School Competition held in Hiroshima💨
It was really hot and humid that day, and just watching made me sweat
But many athletes worked hard to aim for their best performance, regardless of the heat.
People who are happy they made it for the inter-high competition, people who were frustrated because they sadly couldn’t get selected, people who made it to the competition but cried because they could have aimed higher
Each person has their own thoughts, their own story
I was reminded once again that this is what it means to be “serious”
Somehow, I was really inspired by that, and it made me feel like I couldn’t lose either
You may be nervous on the big stage of inter-high, but I hope you enjoy it! I’m rooting for you 📣
It was very emotional to watch, but it was also really fun
It reminded me of the nervousness of passing the baton in a relay race
In my experience, the people watching are the most nervous.
When I was watching the various events, I was sometimes reminded of my track and field days, and it made me tear up
Summary: I’ll do my best too!!!!!
It was cloudy on this day☁️
ーーーー----------------
Speaking of which, we’ve entered July, haven’t we?
It’s already July…. So fast
My pronunciation is bad, so for “July” instead of saying “Shichigatsu” I say “Nanagatsu” (t/n: Shichi and Nana are both ways to say “7” (as July is the 7th month); for things like this Shichi is usually more proper)
I forgot who it was, but I was surprised when someone pointed it out before, and they thought it was because it was a dialect at first
When I told them that the reason was that my pronunciation is bad, they laughed at me
From now on, I will try to spread “Nanagatsu” so that it can become the majority
And “Nanagatsu” is also my birthday month
I wonder what I’ll do for my birthdayーーーーI’m looking forward to it
(I wrote it on my greeting card, but I’d like you to celebrate my birthday.💭)
Smiling
That’s all for today
Please eat a lot, sleep a lot, and have a lot of good dreams☆*:.。.
Tomorrow it’s Konomin’s turn; she looks good with or without bangs
I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of blog she’ll post☺︎
Bye bye~
P.S. Until 2 years ago, I was on Team Kinoko no Yama
