I’m Sakurazaka46’s 3rd generation, 18 years old
Murai Yu from Tokyo.

 

This is the second time I’ve continued the relay from Itoha. I feel happy!

There was a huge plushie doll of a white bear at the office, so I took a picture together with it  ♪

First of all, please let me talk about the meet & greet.

 

The meet & greet, where I can directly talk with people who are supporting me, has always been something that I’ve wanted to do since I became an idol.

My wish has finally come true.

When I was actually talking with you, I was just so happy and joyful that I was smiling all the time.

In the short time that we had, I was able to properly receive the thoughts and feelings from each of you.

I feel very happy and excited to think that I will able to grow and see new sceneries together with everyone from now on.

I received power for my activities through meet & greet.
I’d be happy if I could have given you power too.

Today I will talk about my hobbies!

My favourite foods are
Yakiniku, matcha, and mentaiko.

Gyutan is my favourite among yakiniku options!

Gyutan garnished with salt and lemon is just so delicious, I love it~

And when I travel or on my day off, I listen to various genres of music.

Next, please allow me to talk about “Soko Magattara, Sakurazaka?”.

 

I made my first appearance on the 3rd generation introduction episode last week!

It was my first recording, so I was super duper nervous.

I was able to somehow complete it with the warm support from Tsuchida-san, Sawabe-san, and Kobayashi-san who I was paired with.

However, my smile might have been an awkward one throughout.
I want to be able to show a wonderful smile in a natural way…!

 

And,
There was a scene in the next episode preview where I said “Harry Potter”.

But,
That scene was not aired in the actual episode. I think that there might be people who are curious about what’s going on, so please let me explain~!

 

The words I love to hear from others are,
“You can be relied on”,

But then Sawabe-san asked me what my favourite movie is,
And I said, “Harry Potter”.
And then he said,
“If you like Harry Potter then you can use magic! You can be relied on~!”.

 

That’s what happened! lol
