It’s been 9 days.
I’m Katsumata Haru!
I wondered what number blog this was, and upon looking it up, we’re already on the 6th blog😮
So faaaast
Hmm, anyone here have a perfect attendance record..? Thank you so much as always.
Today…
・Thank you for our 3 day performance at Tokyo Dome
・Will you tell me?
・And other things 🫧
__Tokyo Dome performance 7/24.25.26
The 「5th TOUR 2025 “Addiction”」 Tokyo Dome performance
Thank you so much for all 3 days!!
I’ve learned a lot just from watching our seniors from so up close during rehearsals.
I’m still lacking in every aspect, but I want to make sure to use this valuable experience to improve myself!
Thank you for watching over us so warmly on the day of the concert. I’m glad I was able to see all your faces clearer than I thought I would☺︎
I also got to talk to our seniors a little bit!!
Endo Hikari-san took a photo with the 4th gens, and even posted it on her blog…!! Thank you! Whenever Endo-san and I meet, she always talks to me in such a kind and frank manner. It makes me so happy♡
Pony🐴
My hairstyle for all three days was put in a ponytail~
How does it look??
I was happy to have people tell me it looks good and fresh👏
I’ve actually worn my hair in a ponytail a lot before joining as well as in my private life, so I hope I can do it again someday~
__Will you tell me?
In my last blog, I wrote about a method for indecisive people to use to make quick decisions.
I really feel like I’ve spent less time worrying about my decisions ever since I’ve come up with this method!
Even so, I’m still having a fairly tough time making decisions, so there are some things I’d like to discuss with you all a bit💭
Will you tell me~?
①Should I use casual tamego or keigo during meet & greet?
(t/n: tamego is casual language (i.e between friends), keigo is proper/respectful language (i.e between strangers/acquaintances, professionals, superiors depending on the level); there are 3 levels of keigo, standard Japanese use is the lowest level called teineigo and involves the use of desu and ~masu)
For my first meet & greet, I used keigo pretty much the entire time
but I’ve heard there are a lot of members who use tamego…
If I use tamego, it can feel like we’re getting closer
and we’ll be able to talk more in the limited time we have
But is it ok to do it so suddenly..?
That’s my concern
Like today for example, I ended up using a mix of both tamego and keigo, but if I do it that way it might seem all over the place, so I don’t know what to do🤯
②Should I keep going with my blog title theme? Or discontinue it?
(t/n: I very lightly touched upon this in her 3rd blog (07/06) since it’s a lot to explain, but I’ll expound upon it now that she’s talking about it:
Long explanation ー In standard Japanese, to say something politely, you take a verb, reduce it to its stem (i.e iku->iki, to go; nomu->nomi, to drink; oyogu->oyogi, to swim) and append “~masu” to it. In Kyoto dialect, people often change it to the negative stem without the negative part (i.e iku->ika, nomu->noma, oyogu->oyoga; add nai to any of these and it makes them negative) and add “~haru” to it (ikaharu, nomaharu, oyogaharu. This is perceived as “softer” but still polite, somewhere between casual language and standard teineigo. Teineigo can then be applied to ~haru (harimasu) to further boost the politeness (ikaharimasu, etc). It’s also added to the -te form of verbs directly, including polite auxilliary verbs (tabeteharu / tetsudattekureteharu) to put them in “continuative form” but that would all take a lot longer to explain so let’s leave it at this.
tl;dr ー in Kyoto dialect, “haru” is added to the end of verbs, it fits Haru because she’s from Kyoto and that’s her name)
So far, I’ve been using Kyoto dialect and my own name, like 「Do you know about it? (shittekureharu)」「Are you listening to it? (kiitekureharu)」
I’ve been making it 「__haru」 every time
I’ve been told many times that they’re good titles, so I’d like to keep using it if I can, but
Honestly, I’m running out of material💦
Would it be alright if I took a break from it just once…? Lol
If I can, next time I’d like to make it
「I love khaki (Katsumata Haru)」😎
(t/n: unclear if she means the pants or color of the pants as they can both be referred to with just “khaki”)
__Inaguma Hina
I happened with be with Hina when her blog was posted yesterday, so I was reading it while I looking back and forth between her and my phone👀😍
It was so cute, she’d yell “waa” or “kya” and look so embarrassed
This is the privilege of being in the same gen huh? I think I’ll do it next time too
It’s addictive
Oh yeah, and Hina wrote in her blog,
“When I think about how I like someone, I say it outright”
So we had a conversation that was like,
“Wait, I’ve never had Hina say that to me before”
“😐”
“☹️”
“This is awkward”
There were a few other things like that that happened that day, and we said to each other “We’ve been really awkward today, haven’t we?” lol
It feels refreshing to have a relationship where you can point out how awkward things are when they’re awkward.
I’ll keep doing what I can so that someday Hina will tell me she likes me
So she smiles even when she’s being teased on.. *writes that down*
__Sato Neo
Neo will be in charge of tomorrow’s blog
I’m pretty sure this photo was taken right after we joined
Neo-chan when she was a little younger than she is now, so cute😍
(Lately, I’ve been really into going up to her and saying “Neo-chaaan, how are you~?”)
I gotta be careful or else I’ll get a cold stare from her
Because of our order in the blog relay, I talk about Hina and Neo a lot. It’ll be slow, but I want to start talking a loooot about the other 4th gens from now on as well~
I’m rarely able to work up the courage to ask people to take a photo with me, but I’ll try harder from now on📸
__Lastly
Thank you for the online meet & greet today!
Last night while I was brushing my teeth, I was getting excited thinking about who I’ll see the next day
My outfit today↑
I let my hair down, but I was still so excited from the afterglow that I tried playing around with it
I was embarrassed, so I worried about whether or not I should mosaic out my hair until the last minute, but with my usual ritual I went with the choice to not mosaic it
There’s more meet & greet tomorrow,
and then on 8/10 and 8/11, there will also be our real meet & greet!!
For real meet & greet
I want to call out to you by your names a lot, so if you could come with a name tag or card, I’d be really happy about it~
It’ll be hot out, so take care of yourselves when traveling or waiting in line!
And so next blog will be
8/11 (Sunday・Holiday) 「I love khaki (Katsumata Haru)」
Don’t miss it~!
See ya~!
