Today is finally…

The first day of our Tokyo Dome performance
for 「5th TOUR 2025 “Addiction”」

 

 

Aren’t you all sooo hyped up!?

 

 

With today being the day of the concert, I’m so so excited!
but as usual, let’s start with the table of contents♪

・Giving Day 1 my all ❤️‍🔥
・㊗️Momo-chan turning 17🍑
・The story of how despite being indecisive, I’m now able to make quick decisions on choosing onigiri

As I mentioned at the start, today is finally Day 1 of our Tokyo Dome performance.

 

When standing on a stage as big as Tokyo Dome, instead of getting overwhelmed by its magnitude,

we will be paying close attention to each and every one of you Buddies that came to see us, and show you the very best performance we possibly can.

 

And obviously this is not the 4th gen’s thing, this stage is a place of the history that our seniors, the staff-san, and of course Buddies have built leading up to this point. 

For that reason, all of us in the 4th gen will, with vigor and a sense of respect, put everything we’ve got into this.

And so on Sunday, 7/20
Our dependable youngest, Yamada Momomi aka Momo-chan, had her 17th birthday!🎂

She thinks just like an adult, and she’s so reliable that you wouldn’t even think she’s the youngest of us.
(this is just my personal image of her, but…)I find it very impressive how even when confronting issues, she uses logical reasoning to tackle the matter with a positive mindset. I find it really reassuring to have her in the same gen as me. 
So much so that I occasionally find myself thinking “Which one of us is the oldest again?” lol

 

But if anything happens, feel free to talk to Haru-san⤴︎ about it, okay?

 

This is a 📸 from just after we joined the group, when the two of us said “We wanna experience Tokyo!” so we went and had some fun in Harajuku

 

I couldn’t really imagine Momo-chan to be the type to take purikura, but she was surprisingly excited and cute😍

And actually Momo-chan was the one to invite me that day
Looking back at the message, she asked me “Would you like to look at clothes together?”🫣
We still hadn’t gotten completely past using polite speeches so this was a very heart-fluttering situation

Ahh I wanna hang out again☺︎

This is really abrupt, but I was thinking there might be a lot of you that can relate to this, so please let me talk about it for a bit.

 

 

The truth is, until very recently I was incredibly indecisive,

It was so bad that even when I’d go to a convenience store to buy onigiri, I’d sit there for 10 minutes thinking “Do I want konbu..? Salmon?”

 

🧠Should I go with the ever-reliable konbu here?
🧠But I’m in the mood to eat salmon today too…
🧠Ah, but I had fish for dinner didn’t I…

 

Just like that, the more I think about it, the more I go around and around in circles..😕

 

I thought, “This really is a waste of time!” and finally worked it out😎

 

「My technique for making quick decisions on onigiri as an indecisive person」
① First off, just pick one at random
(picking the one with the most left in stock, asking a friend, anything is ok)
② Take note of your immediate reaction
・a) 「You can accept your decision right away」→Buy it
・b) 「You’re still uncertain and worried about your choice」→Proof that you’re actually drawn to another option→Buy the other option

 

This method,
can be used for bread, bento, or anything with 3 or more options.

(the person standing behind you can choose for you, you can pick something your oshimen recommended, anything is ok)

Of course, agonizing so much about what to get will also make you more attached to what you choose, so the time you spent worrying about it is also part of the fun.
