What are your wishes, everyone~?
I love Tanabata,
when I was little, I used to eat Tanabata Jellies,
write my wishes on tanzaku paper, (t/n: tanzaku are rectangular strips of paper that you write a wish on and hang from bamboo for Tanabata)
and pray “I hope my wish comes true!”
while gazing at the beautiful night stars~ꉂꉂ🤭
(The night sky in Saga is really beautiful, and I hope you all get a chance to see it too✩)
I’ve always loved events like this, but these past few years, Tanabata often just snuck up on me before I even noticed, so I haven’t been making any wishes…
To be honest, I completely forgot that today was Tanabata as well, but a few days ago, Haru-chan told me, “Your blog post falls on Tanabata!”
Thanks to that, I was able to carefully think about what to wish for🙌

On June 29, I took part in my very first online meet and greet❀
Thank you very much to everyone who joined!!
For those who couldn’t join this time, I hope to see you next time☺︎
At first, I was nervous thinking,
“Will I be able to talk well…?” “Will everyone enjoy it…?”
But once it started, the time flew by, and I found myself wishing it could last even longer🎀

I’m often told that I seem like a quiet person,
but I actually love chatting so much that once I start I can’t stop~☺︎
I also love listening to others, so the online meet and greet was such a happy and special time for me🍀.*
Thank you so much for decorating with my merch, making handmade items and drawings of me, and even celebrating together with cake!
I could really feel all the love and thought you put into everything, it made me so happy~

This is something from a little while ago,
but “Sakurazaka46 Fourth Generation Story – What We Can Do Now, Because It’s Us” came to a close with Episode 8!
It feels kind of lonely now ( ᵕ_ᵕ̩̩ )
They followed us closely for about three months.
At first, I kept noticing the camera whenever it was suddenly right beside me,
but little by little, I got used to it,
and through that, I could really feel how much I had grown☺️
During training camp, the more we practiced, the more challenges we uncovered.
There were so many times when I didn’t even know where to start in terms of what I should be working on.
I was so focused on just remembering the choreography that my emotions couldn’t keep up, and when I tried to put emotion into it, I’d forget the moves instead.
It all became overwhelming, and I just ended up feeling rushed and lost, not knowing what to do anymore…
But with the help of my fellow C Team members, Wakochi and Momo-chan,
we supported each other all the way to the final presentation.
Thank you both so much!!
Each group had its own difficulties, but all of us fourth gens supported one another and got through it together, so the experience during training camp has become a great source of strength for us now.
I want to treasure everything we learned from TAKAHIRO-sensei, Mai-sensei, and Himawari-sensei and carry those lessons with me as I take on future activities!!
In the documentary, there were a lot of scenes of the fourth gen members in tears, but during mealtimes, we couldn’t stop laughing~🍽️
If you rewatch the scenes where we were cooking, you can spot all sorts of funny and unexpected sides of everyone, so I think it’d be fun to watch it again and pay close attention ♡
Actually, we fourth gens are usually all smiles and super cheerful~
By the way~
About a month after training camp I ate the Pocky that was given to me 🐰🐱
I honestly wanted to avoid eating it and instead keep it as a memento,
but I felt like the chocolate part was starting to melt, so I decided to go ahead and eat it…
And it was the most delicious Pocky I’ve ever had!!
Once again, thank you very much to Murai Yu-san and Yamashita Shizuki-san🐰🐱

Through the documentary, we also got to see the filming of “Shindafuri”‘s music video and behind the scenes of the “First Showcase,”
so I watched it all thinking, “I didn’t know that happened!”😳
Among everything, the first song we performed at the “First Showcase” was “Jigoujitoku.”
During training camp, we weren’t able to perform “Jigoujitoku” with all 9 of us, since we were focusing on improving the quality of “Seijaku no Bouryoku.”
But actually, we had been practicing “Jigoujitoku” as a training assignment during our training period.
After camp, our individual formations were finalized, and from there, we all worked together to build the performance!!
What do you think of the fourth gen’s version of “Jigoujitoku”~?
I really loved this song as well, so when we got to perform it, I couldn’t stop smiling, I was so excited and full of joy!
And I absolutely love Hii-chan’s performance as center!!
She’s so cool, isn’t she?✨️
Hii-chan is usually soft-spoken and kind,
but when she performs she’s like a completely different person and becomes really cool.
The contrast is amazing!
I could perform confidently, having a feeling like “Please watch our Hii-chan!” during it
Hii-chan! You’re really cool!🩷
It was mentioned briefly in the documentary, but we were told about a week before the show that we’d be performing “I want tomorrow to come” as an added song…
We had to start by learning the choreography,
and the dance was very difficult,
It felt like there was no end in sight, and I was honestly worried we wouldn’t make it in time…
It gave me a renewed appreciation for just how amazing our seniors really are.
The choreography was also so fast and complex, so I struggled a lot and couldn’t dance the way I wanted to.
But we helped each other through the parts we didn’t understand,
and because we all came together as a team, I think that’s what allowed us to make it to the performance.
I absolutely love Haru-chan’s soft and gentle singing voice as center for that song♡
And, and…
I still can’t forget the tears in Himawari-sensei’s eyes after we performed “Seijaku no Bouryoku”.
I couldn’t help but cry as well…
Through training camp, the MV shoot, and the First Showcase,
all these first moments for us 4th gens, Himawari-sensei was always right there by our side, supporting us.
No matter the situation, just seeing Himawari-sensei at work puts me at ease, and thanks to that, I’m able to face everything with a calm and relaxed mindset.
I know I’ve caused a lot of trouble up until now,
but from now on, I want to create the best stages together,
and give back as a way of showing my gratitude.
In order to perform in a way that can truly reach Himawari-sensei’s heart,
we fourth gens will continue to grow every day
with “Unity, Prevailing, and Never stop blooming” in our hearts,
and with the goal of “Making our voices heard” to as many people as we can🌻
Himawari-sensei, please continue to watch over us fourth gens from here on out🌸

On June 30th, “Soko Magattara, Sakurazaka?” aired the episode titled “Their Exciting First Appearance! Sakurazaka46’s 4th Generation! Welcome! (Part 1)”🌸
In the first half, the four of us, Konomin, Hinaguma, Haru-chan, and I made our appearance!
