Good evening

 

I’m Odakura Reina

 

 

 

I turned 20 years old today

 

With how busy I am every day, my birthday felt just like another weekday,

 

but thanks to all of you who celebrates it, I am reminded of the gentle feeling a birthday has.

It still doesn’t feel real to me that I am 20 years old now

It seems that nothing will change as I grow up

 

But remaining the same is surprisingly something hard to do, so perhaps it’s not a bad thing

 

 

 

 

I was 18 years old when I met all of you

so I have aged two years already

 

My goal as a 20 years old is,

“to cherish the promises I made to myself”

 

Keeping the promises you made to yourself is something difficult to do, so I’d like to have some leeway in being able to value my resolve and will

 

 

That is also because recently, I feel that I’ve been able to walk forward while looking ahead

 

I’ve been able to seriously and properly face myself,

and cherish many different things

including both the happy and sad things

 

 

 

That’s why, as my first step in being an adult, I’d like to make good on the promises that I have made to myself

 

“If you’re going to live, then your will must be strong”

 

That’s how I feel

 

I’d like to spend such a fulfilling time so that in the future I could confidently say that this is the most enjoyable time in my life
