【Name】Katsumata Haru
It’s not Katsu Mataharu!!!
Sometimes when I start a new school or I’m at a reception desk I’ve never been to
they mistakenly call out “Mataharu-san～”
and pointing it out is kind of embarrassing, so I just leave it be
and pretend I’m a descendant of Katsu Kaishu
I’m currently accepting applications for a nickname〜☺︎
(t/n: Katsu Kaishu is a notable Meiji period commander)
【Date of Birth】January 24th, 2004
That day was a pleasantly warm spring-like day following a series of harshly cold days.
“I want her to be someone who brings a spring-like warmth to all kinds of people” My parents gave me my name with that idea in mind🌸
【Penlight Colors】Sakura Pink x Red
Like my seniors,
・Cool performances that amaze and encourage the viewers
・Warmth like that of a cozy spring, just as I was named for
As a member of Sakurazaka46, I want to bring these two concepts to as many people as I can, and with that in mind, I chose these 2 colors associated with those concepts✨
【Favorite Foods】I wrote wagashi and skewered hearts in my profile, but there are lots more too!!!
Chicken is my favorite as far as meats go!!
I like it so much that I had a part-time job for about 1 year in a shop that specialized in chicken. I was in charge of measuring out and selling meat.
I worked so much during the busy season
that the pitch bar at karaoke would even start looking like a cut of chicken..
Be careful of the parts where the pitch changes in small increments, those in particular look irresistibly tasty🚨
It makes it look just like pieces of chicken, down to the small details,
and then it gets difficult to match the pitch, making the color become amazingly chicken colored🥩
(t/n: Japanese karaoke machines have a display that shows the desired pitch level so you can try to match it; for most machines, when you’re off pitch the bar becomes pink or red)
Although, I haven’t gone to karaoke much lately, so maybe I won’t see it as chicken as much anymore

For my special skill demonstration, I decided to challenge singing and playing guitar for “Zutto haru dattara naa”
I can’t really say I’m good at singing or guitar,
but I wondered if it’d be good to perform one of my seniors cherished songs in front of such a huge crowd of Buddies
naturally I practiced again and again, but no matter what, the anxiety remained
But once the song started, everyone followed the warm rhythm with my penlight colors, and thanks to their support, I was able to enjoy myself!!❤️🔥
All the Buddies, who have been supporting us ever since before seeing us at the First Showcase and live performance part.
Our seniors who took time in their busy schedules to come to the venue, and offer us their warm words.
The kind and funny 4th gen members that share their pains and burdens with one another
The staff and our instructors who are there for us behind the scenes.
Once the First Showcase was over, I could really feel again how kind everyone involved has been.
I’ve still only been on the receiving end of all this generosity.
I’ll do my best to pay everyone back someday, as soon as I possibly can.

People tend to subconsciously fixate on the things they can’t do, or the things that make them feel sad, and there are times this causes them to fall into self-hatred. Psychologically speaking, people are more sensitive to negative things than positive things
I myself would also like to focus more on the positives as much as I possibly can throughout the day, so it would make me happy if I could become someone that can make you feel joy every day and help drown out the things that are bothering you💫
