I’m Yamakawa Ui from Sakurazaka46’s 4th generation.
It’s finally my turn for the relay blog…!
My turn tends to be towards the end, such as for my reveal vlog and profile, so this time I waited patiently while thinking up what I want to write too~ ☁️

I feel like I’m hearing some voices saying that they’re tired of waiting, so let me introduce myself right away ✊🏻
Once again, I’m Yamakawa Ui from Miyagi, 19 years old.
Since I’m from Miyagi, that means that currently I’m the only member from Tohoku region in Sakurazaka46 ❄️
I’d be happy if you could remember me as the girl from Sendai, my beloved hometown.
My birthday is on September 19th 🎂
I’ll finally be celebrating my 20th birthday this year, so I’m filled with determination to do my best to get closer to adulthoodー!
I’m really happy that the first birthday I get to celebrate with everyone is such an important milestone.
2025 is a really special year for me, one I will never forget!
Also, I wonder if there are some of you who are curious about the origin of my name, “Ui” 🥝
When I tried asking my mother about it, she said that it came from the “u” and “i” in “ureshii” (happy)~

It felt a bit disappointing because the reason behind it was simpler than I expected,
But when I think that my name contains my mother’s pure feelings when I was born, I could feel how adorable it is and that’s just really like her.
Also, seems like she chose the kanji of my name, “宇衣” because to her it felt like I descended from the sky when I was born 🕊️
[T/N: 宇 means heaven]
Isn’t this also really wonderful? ☺︎
It’s my beloved name, a name unique to myself.
I hope I can hear my name called lots by everyone ✨
My favorite things to do are eating delicious food and taking walks
I really like eating, I feel the happiest when I eat delicious food ☺︎
If I keep on talking about it, the topic will stray from my self-introduction, so let me talk about it leisurely next time🍚
Taking walks is such an integral part of my daily life, so much so it feels just right to call it my hobby. While commuting, I try to walk for around one stop’s distance instead of taking the train.
It’s a good way to get some light exercise and refresh your mind 🌿
It’s getting long, so I’ll end my self-introduction here.

🌸 Sakurazaka46 4th Generation’s “First Showcase”
Thank you very much to everyone who came to the venue and everyone who watched the livestream!!
The moment when I saw the venue being lit up by everyone’s penlights from the stage was truly unforgettable.
It’s a great treasure to have experienced such a wonderful moment in my life. 🥲
It went by so quickly, and it was such a precious time, I felt sad that it had to end.
It feels like such a blessing to be able to spend that time with Buddies! ♡
Thank you as well for the fun times during the send-off after the show!! ✨
After several days had passed, I suddenly remembered the words you said and cried on the train in secret,,, 🥲 lol
It really was that much of a joyful, warm, and extremely happy time for me. Truly, thank you very much!! 🌸
Us 4th gens will also be participating on the online meet & greets to commemorate the release of the 12th single “Make or Break”!! Yaーy!
Also, we’ll be able to meet soon during the real meet & greet!! So exciting
I’m really looking forward to being able to talk with Buddies again ✨
I hope we can meet each other a lot from now on!
I actually wanted to write a lot more about the First Showcase, but if I continue on, there will be no end to it, so I’ll do that in my next blog…!
