I still can’t get over how good the meat sushi I had yesterday was.

The other day, we held a Sakukoi Boyfriend Event~!
was absolutely pleased that you took time out of your busy days to come and see me.
Thanks to those who travelled a long way to be there!
In the first half, we had a quiz called: “If you’re really my partner, you should know this!” 👑
But, not a single person got top marks…
At this rate, you’re all just going to stay stuck as potential candidates, you know~
Make sure you review properly before next time! 🙄 lol
During the second half, we played a Taboo word game mixed with a Q&A. 🎤
To be honest, I was worrying so much about accidentally saying the forbidden words that I don’t think I answered your questions properly… 🥲
So! I’d like to go over the two questions I answered on the day once again, and while I’m at it, answer a few more that were sent in as well! 💌📮
⚫︎ Even when I have things I need to do, I end up putting them off and lazing about instead. How can I stop doing that?
At the event, I suggested making a to-do list, but here’s another idea:
Write your task in big, bold letters on an A4 sheet of paper (or even a large poster sheet) and stick it on the wall!
Even if you’re just having a lie-in on your bed, you’ll spot it and feel the pressure.~ 🫨😟
That said…
Mind you, it’s only human to want to laze about on your days off, so just getting one thing done is brilliant. 😌🍵
Make sure you give yourself a proper pat on the back for it!☘️

I mentioned the cinema at the event, but besides that…
I’d quite like to try:
An escape room
A shopping trip around a massive supermarket
Both of those can be a bit daunting to tackle on your own, so wouldn’t it be lovely to go together? 🙂↕️

“UDAGAWA GENERATION” 🎪
As those of you who watched it will already know, each member showcased a special skill or unique talent during the instrumental section.
While everyone else was gradually deciding on things like acrobatics, unicycling, and robot dancing…
I didn’t really have anything up my sleeve.
I spent ages discussing it with the stage director, wondering what on earth I should do… 🥲
(I was overthinking it so much I even blurted out, “I could prove a mathematical theorem on a blackboard!!”)
During rehearsal breaks, everyone kept coming over with suggestions. “What about plate spinning?” “Have you ever tried juggling?”
Then Ui-tan said:
“What about a science experiment? Like a clown popping out of some smoke…”
She pitched it to the director with complete enthusiasm. 🪽lol
Moments like that really made me appreciate just how kind everyone is. 😭
In the end, we settled on pantomime.
I’d never done it before, but it made me think that I’d quite like to keep practising and eventually turn it into a proper skill of mine 🧳
⚫︎ Tell us one hidden side of yourself that fans don’t know about.
Ehhh…I feel like I’m an open book. A hidden side of me, though… Let’s see…
If something catches my interest, I’ll look it up straight away.
But I’m not very good at reading instruction manuals.
I love reading books, but I can’t read more than one at a time, or I get my head in a muddle.
I enjoy mysteries and thriller novels, but I’m terrified they’ll give me nightmares if I read them before bed, so I try to read them in the daytime.
I absolutely adore young children and completely melt whenever I meet them.
I even watch videos of them on YouTube every day because they cheer me up.
And surprisingly enough, I’m actually rather good at rock climbing! 🧗
Things like that, perhaps?

I’ve watched both the music videos and the TV performances myself, and whilst the two tracks have completely different vibes, I feel they both still carry that unmistakable Sakurazaka at their core.
I’m taking a lot of inspiration from them! ❤️
And I’ll also be participating in the BACKS track, “Coin Laundry”.

Over this period, I’ve really been taking the time to digest the song, having a proper look at myself, and learning heaps from the people around me.
I want to deliver this song with care and sincerity.
