but I, Sakurazaka46’s Yamasaki Ten,
have been appointed to become Sakurazaka46’s Vice Captain

 

 

Once again, thank you very much for all your support!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First of all, I am truly so happy to be able to celebrate Sakurazaka46’s 5th year anniversary in such a wonderful way together with the Buddies

 

 

Buddies’ passionate support always fills my heart

Today too, I received everyone’s fiery energy
and passionate love,
and I felt just how fortunate I am

 

 

 

All of the Buddies,

 

truly, thank you very much
for taking Sakurazaka46 to the National Stadium

 

Thank you very much
for helping making my dream come true

 

 

 

And it is not just the Buddies,

 

I believe that the reason Sakurazaka46 could come so far

 

is thanks to Captain Matsuda Rina

 

 

 

Even when the group activities weren’t going so well,

Matsuda continued to support Sakurazaka46

 

She poured so much energy into the group

even more than all of us imagined

 

 

This time too, before the rehearsal for this concert begin,

she gathered the members and spoke with everyone

 

 

She always raises everyone’s spirit like that

 

 

Matsuda’s broad perspective,

how she is always considerate with others,

how she never showed how tired she is despite working harder than anyone else,

how she always brightens up her surrounding,

I truly have nothing but respect to her

 

 

 

I think that Vice Captain

is an important position that would allow one to support the Captain from up close

 

 

I am grateful to Matsuda

for naming me for that position

 

 

I may not be able to do much

and I am still inexperienced

 

but I have an unwavering confidence in how big my desire is to make the group stronger

 

 

 

 

 

I am determined to dedicate my life

and everything that I have for Sakurazaka46

 

 

 

I have one small request to all of you

 

 

Buddies, please give just a little bit of the precious time in your life

to Sakurazaka46

 

 

 

I believe that Sakurazaka46’s real challenge lies ahead

I want us to continue

chasing after our dreams together with the Buddies

 

 

If I could be so bold, I’d like Sakurazaka46 continue to be a group that is loved by many people

even when I’m already a granny

 

 

 

 

When Buddies are sad,

I want no one else but us Sakurazaka46,

to be the one who make you smile

 

 

The presence that gives you courage

The presence that makes you feel positive

The presence that encourages you to take that first step

I want it all to be Sakurazaka46

 

I want us to be Buddies’ “reason” for working hard

 

 

 

I’d be happy if you could continue to walk through life
